IBS: Information for Therapists

The UK Register of IBS Therapists was formed in 1997 by Michael Mahoney a leading UK clinical hypnotherapist in the gastroenterological field. On 1 October 2007, as a result of continuing success and growing recognition of hypnotherapy as a viable treatment option and through the growing understanding that other therapies too can bring symptom relief to those living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), the IBS Register is now looking for other therapeutic disciplines to add additional value to the register, greater options of choice for the IBS sufferer, an increased resource pool for the medical profession, coupled with an opportunity for your practice to grow with us.

The IBS Register is known and respected and listed in Family Doctor Books series published in association with the British Medical Association BMA as a resource contact.

If you are a therapist who works in the disciplines list  or you have proven experience in the IBS field within an unlisted disciple we would like to hear from you.
